Nicholas Obayuwana

Nicholas is a native of High Point, NC where he played football from age 9 to 18. He was a standout linebacker at T. Wingate Andrews earning numerous awards and also a scholarship to North Carolina Central University. He also played one year of arena football for the Carolina Sharks. After hanging up his cleats Nicholas decided to give back to his community by coaching and mentoring youth with Parks and Rec football. In 2015 he joined the SMWW family by completing the Football GM and Scouting course. In 2017 he founded VIPA (Visions Inspired through Performance and Athletics) which is a program to train, mentor and teach youth about sports and help keep them off the streets. In 2018 he made VIPA a nonprofit organization in hopes to reach more Youth. Through his corporation, he's helped over 10 athletes receive scholarships and numerous kids continue their education and become productive citizens in their community.
